HP ProBook x360 11 G3 Review: A Must-Have Student or Teacher 2-in-1 Notebook / Tablet with Excellent Touchscreen

This is an excellent educational laptop with a rugged, yet versatile and attractive design that includes a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to be flipped or folded into Tablet, Tent, Stand, or Notebook modes. It’s also compatible with a digital pen / Windows Ink technology. The HP ProBook x360 11 G3 can be used for just about any kind of function, although it is primarily geared towards the K – 12 educational sectors.

There are so many things you can do with this ProBook, thanks to its versatility. In notebook mode, you can create content. In stand mode, it’s easy to collaborate with others. Share and present projects while it’s in tent mode. Use it as it a tablet and do everything from reading and drawing. Thanks to the HP School Pack 3.5 suite, you’ll have tons of useful applications that can be accessed not only on the x360 11 G3, but from anywhere via cloud technology.

HP ProBook x360 11 G3 Ports and Display

Connect to multi-generation devices and other displays with the USB ports and HDMI I/O that this machine comes with. There are two USB 3.1 (generation 1) ports, Type-C port (data transfer / power delivery), HDMI 2.0a, headphone / microphone combo, RJ-45, and AC power cord.

The 11.6-inch diagonal anti-glare touchscreen display that comes with the HP ProBook x360 11 G3 has a 1366 x 768 native resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 220-nits, and LED backlighting. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which allows the user to utilize all of the touch gestures and Windows 10 functions. Speaking of the OS, Windows 10 Home 64 or Pro are both available. Pro is obviously recommended for business or educational use.

The keyboard is spill-resistant and the pointing device is a clickpad designed with multi-touch gesture support. You can attach another keyboard or mouse via USB to shift everything to a more traditional interface.
