Acer Aspire TC TC-866-UR11 Review: Budget Mid-Range desktop with DVD Writer, 8GB RAM, Hexa-Core Processor, & Extensive I/O

Even though it’s not technically a gaming computer, there are still plenty of fun things to do with the Acer Aspire TC TC-866-UR11. Perform highly-demanding tasks such as editing home videos, doing research, putting together family photo albums, and more. There is a new-generation performance with the desktop, and it has enough room for expandability. Its packaged well and comes shipped with a USB keyboard, mouse, and power cord.

The case is easy to open up. There are just two screws, and the inside is very accessible, making upgrades and maintaining a breeze. There is front-panel media access underneath the elegant black housing. The design is new for the Aspire TC desktop series. It’s simple, yet somewhat elegant with a black front panel a “V-shaped” LED light around the power button. The angular design on the front panel and the black, high-quality plastic help this desktop blend into any home or office setup.

As for the connectivity, there are several I/O ports located on the back and front of the Acer Aspire TC TC-866-UR11. These include a total of 8 USB ports, one of which is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port. There is also an HDMI port and VGA port for connecting to monitors. This desktop is an environmentally friendly PC with RoHS certification.
