HP Pavilion TP01-1105t Computer – Sleek Silver Desktop Tower with DVD Drive, Good Port Selection, & Other Great Features

This PC is a nice-looking, silver desktop tower that is great for home use and easy to set up and use. Ditch the traditional, dull black box and replace it with the HP Pavilion TP01-1105t, with its polished silver brushed finish. Multiple ports are part of the design in convenient areas to make it easy to connect devices.

A USB wired optical mouse and USB keyboard comes in the box with the tower. As for the tower size, it measures (inches) 13.28 x 6.12 x 11.97 (W x D x H). It weighs approximately 13.14-lbs. It’s fairly compact and easily and comfortably fits on or under any desk or table. There is energy efficiency with this Pavilion, as with most HP computers. It is EPEAT Bronze Registered / ENERGY STAR certified.

Video connectors are 1 VGA and 1 HDMI. Several expansion slots are also included: 1 PCIe x 16, 2 M.2 (1 for SSD / 1 for LAN), and 1 PCIe x1. There is plenty of USB and other I/O ports for connectivity, as mentioned above. The SuperSpeed USB Type-C and 4 x SuperSpeed USB Type-As have a 5Gbps signaling rate. The front of the HP Pavilion TP01-1105t also has a headphone/microphone combo jack. On the backside of the tower, there are 4 USB 2.0 ports (Type-A).

The new Windows 11 Home is the OS. It’s powered by an Intel Core i3 (10100) with a 3.6 GHz base frequency and a 4.3 GHz turbo boost technology. This processor is quad-core and has a 6MB L3 cache.

HP Pavilion TP01-1105t Memory and DVD Drive

Memory and graphics are also critical components for a computer. This one has 2-DIMM memory slots, which can hold 2 x4GB of memory with the base configuration, all the way up to 32GB of memory (DDR4-2666 SDRAM) if you need to upgrade. The graphics with the cheapest model are integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics.

Optical DVD drives on desktops aren’t as standard these days, but one is included with the HP Pavilion TP01-1105t. The hard drive itself is a PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive with 256GB, and there is room for a 1TB 7200-RPM SATA.

Additional features include a 3-in-1 memory card reader, 180-W Gold efficiency power supply, integrated 10 / 100 / 1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and Realtek Wi-Fi (2×2) wireless technology with Bluetooth 5 combo.

Suppose you’re after an “all-rounder” desktop to keep around the house or office, with good specs and room for upgradability in the future. In that case, the HP Pavilion TP01-1105t is one to check out.
