Dell G5 5000

Dell G5 5000 Information – A Versatile Gaming Machine with a Lot of Power and Configuration Choices

This model can be described as an entry-level to mid-level gaming PC with a compact design and affordable price tag. It looks like a gaming tower, more so than the Inspiron did, with features such as a glass window and diagonal blue LED light. While more affordable, the Dell G5 5000 varies a great deal depending on the specifications and configuration options, of which there are many.

It is highly configurable, but you can order a prefab build that meets all your needs, including the power for a full 1080p gaming experience. Even with a cheaper configuration, you can expect a complete, reliable 60fps gaming experience.

There are three chassis options: 360-W chassis w/ lighting, 500-W chassis w/ bezel lighting, and 500-W chassis w/ internal and bezel lighting (clear door). Regardless of which chassis design pattern, the side panel is relatively easy to remove, and there are no tools required. The G5 stays cool during intense gameplay – especially with four thermal model options controlled via the Alienware Command Center.

For those that want to go all out with gaming, you can equip the Dell G5 5000 with VR-capable graphics. There is also optional Killer Wireless technology to ensure superfast internet speed and smooth, stable network traffic. There is no need to worry about any lag or interruptions when playing games with high settings turned on.

Dell G5 5000 Processor Choice

There are several processor options available, starting with an i3 quad-core processor (up to 4.3-GHz) with the base configuration and going all the way up to Intel Core i9 (10900F) 10-core processor (up to 5.2-GHz). You can also get the Dell G5 5000 equipped with just about any NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card. Starting with GTX 1650 SUPER (4GB GDDR6), or AMD Radeon RX graphics with some configurations, beginning with RX 5300 (3GB – GDDR6) and going up to AMD Radeon RX 5700-XT (8GB GDDR6).

The 2933MHz memory starts with 8GB with the cheapest configuration, and you can expand from there. There is an option to have it built with up to 32GB (2 x 16GB) when you place your online order.

The storage options are almost limitless as well, with room for dual drives: M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD + HDD. Or, to save money, you can stick with a single 1TB 3.5-inch SATA HDD or a single 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Lastly, the Dell G5 5000 comes with no shortage of ports and connections as well. The number of HDMI ports will depend on the graphics card installed. It’s a very reliable, powerful, and versatile machine.
