Lenovo ThinkCentre M720: An Overview of the Three Tower Options and Their Features

Get this new ThinkCentre desktop computer in one of three models: Tiny, Tower, and Small Form Factor. All models come equipped with good hardware, software, and technology. The idea of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 is to allow users to work with robust workloads, yet still be energy-efficient with impressive power supplies (210W 85% with the standard tower, either 65 W 88% adapter or 135 W 88% adapter for Tiny tower, or 210W 85% for the SFF version).

Not only do they come with great hardware, they can also be upgraded. Even the M720 Tiny’s memory is upgradable all the way up to 32GB. For long term storage, how does 1TB of PCIe SSDS or 7200-RPM sound? Or 16GB Intel Optane memory?

The Small Form Factor can come with either Integrated intel UHD (630) graphics or NVIDIA GeForce (GT7302) with 2GB graphics memory. It can even be equipped with up to 64GB of DDR4 2666-MHz memory, which is much more than many of the large traditional desktop towers are able to hold. All models of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 can be equipped with an 8th Gen. Intel Core i5 processor. The “Tiny” tower, however, can even have an 8th Gen. Intel Core i7 processor OR Intel Pentium Gold, depending on the configuration.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 Connectivity

There shouldn’t be any problems with the connectivity, charging, and syncing, thanks to all of the USB ports (including USB Gen. 1 Type-C and USB Gen. 2, DisplayPort+, HDMI, etc…) On the Tower and SFF models, you’ll also find multiple USB 2.0 ports for older peripherals and VGA.

The great thing about the Tiny tower is that it is much smaller than the traditional desktop tower, and is actually portable. You can easily move it from room to room without any problems. Need it for the office? It should be easy to set up at any desk. Regardless of which model you choose, you can connect the Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 to a wireless network with 802.11 AC (2×2) technology. There is also Bluetooth 4.0.

These desktops do not lack when it comes to security. Get TPM 2.0 technology, a Kensington lock slot,, and a Padlock loop. As for the operating system, choose either Windows 10 Home or Pro. It’s really recommended that you choose Pro – especially if you plan to do any type of business on this computer.

You can get started with ordering the Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 today. Just look over the technical specs of all three towers, although much of their configuration is the same. Check and see if any Lenovo coupons are available for any of them.
