Lenovo Yoga C640 Review: This New 13.3-inch Convertible, Its Design, Configuration, Optional 4G LTE, & More

This 13.3-inch 2-in-1 Yoga convertible notebook from Lenovo comes with optional 4G LTE technology, a touchscreen display, 360-degree hinge, and all kinds of other good specs. It also has a nice design with a sandblasted aluminum cover and up to 12 hours of a battery life – all for under $700. You don’t have to order the Lenovo Yoga C640 with the 4G LTE and can save money if you don’t select that as part of your configuration.

Like its predecessors, this C640 model is designed with portability in mind. It has a starting weight of 2.98-lbs and can support up to 10th Generation Intel Core processors. Also for connectivity, there is Intel 9560 802.11 AC (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.0 technology.

There is a unique mix of mid-range and premium features with this 2-in-1. It has an aluminum cover on the lid, although the main body itself is a durable, high-quality plastic. Good security features include a fingerprint reader and a “TrueBlock” Privacy Shutter. For audio, there is support for far-field voice detection when you are using Alexa or Cortana. The stereo speakers are located on the right and left sides of the keyboard where they will not be blocked, regardless of whether you are using the machine in laptop mode, tablet mode, or tent mode.

Regardless of which configuration you choose, the touchscreen display is very nice. It features vibrant color and clarity, no matter what photos, videos, or websites you are viewing. The300-nits of brightness is pretty impressive, and you’ll be able to see every detail.

Do video-chatting with co-workers or relatives via the webcam, and then cover it with the TrueBlock Privacy Shutter whenever it’s not in use. You won’t have to worry about anybody trying to spy on you.

There really is no reason NOT to invest in the new Lenovo Yoga C640, regardless of which configuration you choose. It is an excellent all-around 2-in-1 device that offers portability, performance, security features, and vibrant touchscreen display.
