Lenovo ThinkCentre M75n: A Nano Desktop that Reinvents the Concept of Personal Computers

Lenovo has pushed the limits of the Think Small concept with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M75n. It is a complete Windows desktop scaled down to only a third of a 1-liter desktop that can easily fit into your backpack. In addition, it comes in only one black color and weighs only 505g/1.1lbs, ensuring that you can easily move it around should you need to.

Processor and Exterior Design

Despite its diminutive size, the nano desktop does not compromise on performance and power. With its AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 3300U / 350U Processor clocked at 2.10 GHz with Max Boost support for up to 3.50 and powered by four cores and four threads, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M75n delivers performance that can match that of any mid-range Ultrabook PC with 30% higher efficiency.

As for design, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M75n exterior is entirely made from plastic with a quality build and a perfect frame that doesn’t lose to other fully armored desktops. Whether in extreme heat or extreme cold, the M75n will run uninterrupted. It has a single ultra-silent inbuilt fan to regulate system heat. Coupled with its black color, there’s an archaic feel to it that highlights its uniqueness as a mini-nuke.

The nano PC provides a wide range of I/O support. It has two legacy USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one Type-C USB 3.2, Gen 2 port with display support, one Type-C USB 3.2, Gen 2 port with support for display and power, two USB 2.0 Gen 2 ports, a power in port, a DisplayPort, a Kensington lock slot and headphone/microphone combo jack. With all the USB ports pegged at Gen 2, users can enjoy transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. There are also slots for a VESA mount behind the nano desktop for mounting the nano desktop behind a monitor. It, however, doesn’t come with support for HDMI output.

The M90n Nano desktop doesn’t have a built-in display or SD card reader. Users will have to provide a monitor to enjoy the desktop. Its portability guarantees flexibility, depending on users’ choices and variations, as there are many options to explore.
