Dell Latitude 7300

Dell Latitude 7300 Review: 13.3-inch Notebook with a “Smart” Design, Solid Build, and Great Specs

This new Latitude from Dell is described as being “the world’s smallest 13-inch premium business notebook”. It shares a very similar design, including the chassis, with the 14-inch 7400 model, which is also new. The only real difference is that the Dell Latitude 7300 is slightly smaller and lighter. There are different specs available depending on the price, with the starting price averaging around $1,300. Of course, you can likely save since Dell is notorious for its laptop deals and online store coupons.

There are plenty of security features packed inside these machines, such as “SafeGuard”, “SafeID”, and “SafeScreen”. The latter is especially interesting, as it is uses backlighting tricks to reduce viewing angles in certain environments in order to prevent others from being nosy and trying to read your screen. It also comes with a camera shutter option.

There is a lot of convenience with the Dell Client Command Suite / VMware Workspace One integration, as it allows you to manage all Windows 10 endpoints from a single console.

The Dell Latitude 7300 has a “smarter design” which includes recycled carbon fiber and displays with thin bezels. Dell does a good job off minimizing environment waste with its packaging. The lid is designed in a way that lets it be opened with just one hand.

The more costly configurations include a 4×4 narrow-band antenna, which enables a faster, stronger Wi-Fi signal. If you’re going to be traveling a lot with your notebook, this feature is definitely worth investing in.
